I became a midwife to ensure that women would have the option of a
safe and wonder homebirth experience. There is nothing like seeing the joy
on the faces of parents at the birth of their baby. Women who birth at
home with a professional midwife have the best of both worlds. They have
the reassurance that they have a professional in attendance at their birth
and the wonderful feeling of security of being in their own home. I love to
help women and their families achieve their goals for a wonderful birth
experience.

Personally, I have 7 children. 6 of them were born at home. My
children were alway present and a large part of our birthing experiences.
My oldest daughter gave birth to beautiful twin girls at home in September 2000. Her newest addition is my handsome grandson born in October 2002. Isaac was also born at home and caught by grandma.
I have been married for 20 years to my wonderful husband Russell. I
homeschool the 4 children that are still living at home. We moved to the
Idaho Falls area in July 1999.

I conduct prenatals and childbirth classes out of my home. I make
one home visit at about 36 weeks into the client ’ s pregnancy. At 24-36 hours
after the birth, I return to do a check up on mom and baby. The rest of
the postpartum check ups are done in my home.

If you would like more information on midwifery and/or Agape’ Midwifery
Service, please feel free to call or email me. And consultations are free.

Birth is a very special time in a woman’ s life. I hope I can help you plan
a very special delivery. And remember, "There’s No Place Like Home".
