Montana Midwives

We provide home birth services in Northeastern Washington and surrounding areas. I practice traditional midwifery, but am also licensed by the state of Washington. My goal as a midwife is to help you achieve the birth experience that you want. I will consider traveling to attend births. My services include prenatal, birth and postpartum care.
Fees are based on a sliding scale; WA state medical coupons are accepted.
We hold prenatal classes with other parents for those who desire them; a birth tub is available for use for my clients.

I have been a practicing home birth midwife for over 20 years. My practice centers around parent responsiblity and education; I truly believe that birth is a natural process that occurs most sacredly in the home when the mother has had a healthy pregnancy. I believe that parents have not only the right, but the responsibility, to make health decisions, including where and with whom they give birth, according to their beliefs and lifestyle. My practice centers around these beliefs; I work in partnership with the parents who hire me.
I work in a huge area, and often travel fairly long distances to births. I am open to working outside of my area.
